There is a growing trend in the standardisation of financial reporting. A key element of this trend is the use of a specific IT language designed to report the financial figures: XBRL or eXtensible Business Reporting Language.
Financial reporting using this standard is already mandatory on some major stock exchanges (e.g. USA), and adoption of the standard enjoys global momentum.

But what are the major features and benefits of this new standard? Taking part to our free webinar will allow you to know

  • what XBRL is (conceptual understanding) and what it is currently used for
  • how XBRL changes the value chain of financial reporting
  • the benefits of XBRL reporting for financial analysis in the short and medium term
  • last, but not least, practical aspects of using XBRL.

Our speaker, Christian Dreyer CFA is member of the XBRL strategic advisory council to the IASC Foundation and president of the XBRL association in Switzerland (XBRL CH). He is also a chartered financial analyst and served as a President of the Swiss CFA society, of which he is currently a board member.
